Team,

the F28x7x series says these devices are "software compatible".
Can you explain what exactly this means?

Can I take Piccolo software "as is" and switch to a Delfino device?

    The software is compatible across the F2807x, F2837xS, and F2837xD devices (for the same available features/peripherals). These devices are basically architecturally the same. The F2807x is branded as Piccolo and the F2837xS/D is branded as Delfino. There is a different set of header files available for each family.
