Hello,

I have a question.

I am running my custom project on LAUNCHXL-F28027 with external clock input to GPIO19.

But I'm facing following errors.

Can't Single Step Target Program:
(Error -1156 @ 0x800)
Device may be operating in low-power mode. Do you want to bring it out of this mode? Choose 'Yes' to force the device to wake up and retry the operation. Choose 'No' to retry the operation without waking the device.
(Emulation package 6.0.407.3)

C28xx: Failed CPU Reset
C28xx: Error occurred during flash operation: CPU Reset error. Error code 1

Could you tell me how to solve this problem?

Hi Chris,

Thank you for your reply.

The web page you adviced is leading to E2E, and in E2E, it is a problem that is happening on the user's custom board, so much was advice on the hardware.
This problem is occurring at TI's Launchpad, so it seems to lCCS configuration and program problem, not a hardware problem.

What are the possible causes?

Hello

Do you have another emulator to try using? Or another launchpad to test out?

Did you go through these general steps?

JTAG issues can be caused by a wide range of factors.
