Hi,

We used the TMDSHVMTRINSPIN and ControlCARD in the PMSM control, the project is lab05b.

The phase current(U/ V/ W) are higher than 6A when phase current(U/ V/ W) and the duration about 2s-3s(the waveform as picture 1).

The parameters of user'h set as picture 2 and the parameters of PMSM as picture 3 for your evaluation.

  • 1. Could you please use lab02b to identify the motor parameters to ensure these parameters are set properly in user.h?
    2. The motor startup is using force angle process without estimated rotor angle, so the current of startup maybe higher obviously than the normal running current, especially the motor start running with full/heavy load. Please refer to section 14 of InstaSPIN user's guide (SPRUHJ1G) to tune the startup, you may change the force angle parameters in user.h.
