CCS/TMS320F28335: bridgeless-PFC zero-crossing current spike solv bt soft-start-help with the code in CCS

Hello

I am using CCS to run average current loop control for bridgeless boost PFC converter using DSP (F28335). There are spikes at the zero-crossing. Its recommended to use soft -start of MOSFETS (start MOSFET with low duty). Is there a way to implement this in CCS code, start MOSFET with a small duty for few switching cycles at every zero crossing and then let the control take over. Please help with the code.

thanks
