TMDSDC3359: What is the exact PLC chip this evaluation board?

We're looking at using the AFE031 PLC chip. I'm trying to determine which PLC chip this eval board is using. http://www.ti.com/tool/tmdsdc3359#supportandcommunity

Hi Sean ,

The board consists of a PLC83 or octave SOM which consists of an MCU along with the AFE031.

The AFE031 is purely the analog front end for the plc along with the C2000 F28069 micro controller .

Thank you Meghana! I have one more question about this. Can this be used with the PLCLite protocol or only G3/PRIME?

hi Sean,

The solution as is can only be used for G3 / PRIME .

The hardware as such would be supported for the PLC lite but we have only the firmware for the PLC modem or service node and not for DC.
