Hi

Im looking at getting a development platform, Instaspin, to run my clients motor for a project. Im looking at the High Voltage version TMDSHVMTRINSPIN.

My clients BLDC motor as the following specifications.

3 Phase Motor

110VAC

Sinusoidal BEMF

8 Poles

BEMF = 30V/kRPM

Torque Constant = 0.2866 Nm/A

Resistance 2.8 Ohms

Inductance 0.4mH

Isolation Voltage = 500V

And if this platform will not work, can you recommend one that does

    Maybe, you need to know what rated power and rated current is the motor? The EMV kit should be ok for this motor if its rated current is less than 10A. And you may download the motorWare which has some good lab projects for you to identify and spin the motor. More detailed description can be found in the lab and kit guides in motorWare after you install it.
