TMS320F28335: EZDSPF28335 getting too hot

Hello,

My EZDSPF28335 Development board is getting too hot. I tried changing the LDO, because it was heating up too much. But it didn't help. I had one previous board which also had the same issue and eventually

it stopped working. Do you guys faced any similar issue? If yes, then how did you resolve it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Akhil,

You'll have to change the LDO as well as the MCU.

Hi Gautam,

Did you face the same problem? I replaced the LDO and the MCU, still the problem persists.

After removing both the parts, did you check for a short across supply lines? You'll have to do a thorough board checkup once you remove the above 2 components.
