TMS320F28335: F28335 ControlCARD Release 2.2 pin-out/compatibility

The '5390213-1' connector you referenced is the go-to replacement since the Molex connector is no longer available. Are you seeing significantly more instability with the TE connector?

The electrical contact is fine and working. My control desk is some months old, so I don't now the part number, and it holds fine the 1.19mm tick board in it 1.44mm space.

I am just concerned because the control card appear thin to the new connector, with its 2.44mm hold space, what leaves an approximately 3 deg freedom.

I have confirmed that the '5390213-1' connector is what is used in current docking stations. I will take a note to review the connectors, but currently there is not another connection option available to replace the Molex connector.

The other recommended connector is "5390213-1" as you previously mentioned. Besides the aforementioned there are no other recommended connector options.

So, this create the shake (angle freedom) problem that can be a problem to some project that will use the control card.

No problem for use in a workbench / prototype.
