LAUNCHXL-F28377S: "Need help for hardware in the loop simulation"

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28377S

Greetings to all,

I wanted to implement a closed loop control of a drive system with two processors (F28377s and F28335). As mentioned below, one processor should act as a plant (F28377s) and other one as controller (F28335).

I wanted to know whether it is possible to establish closed loop with these two kind of processors which has different cpu speed....

And also help me to know how to synchronize these two processors to make it act like a single system???

  • Priya,

From the C2000 side it is possible. The important thing is that the sample rates, rather than the CPU clock rates, be similar (they don't even have to be the same). From your diagram I imagine you would configure the eCAPa unit to measure the duty cycle of the controller PWM, then compute the plant output and write it to the DAC.

Now, how to accomplish this with Embedded Coder (or the Matlab tool you are using) I couldn't tell you. I think that is something you should run by the Mathworks support forum:
