CCS/TMS320F28075: Missing some include paths when importing CCS project

Part Number: TMS320F28075

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello,

We create a Project in one PC (CCS Version 6.1.1.00022) and we are trying to make it compile in another PC (importing the first project to CCS Version 6.1.0.00104). The problem is that only in this second PC, there are several headers that can’t be found.

When we open Project Properties -> C2000 Compilers -> Include Options, there are some missing paths that do exist in Project Propertis of the first PC.

If we add those missing paths to the project and we compare resulting .cproject files there is a difference, the path is added in one more section of .cproject file.

Why is that? Can we work with the project in these 2 versions of CCS?

Thank you very much.

I can't comment specifically regarding the compatibility of the two, I could involve the CCS team if you want that level of detail.
At this point, the oldest version of CCS we test with is CCS v6.2.0. I highly recommend not switching between versions and using a newer version of CCS.

    Best regards

  • Hello,

    Thank you for your response.
The difference between both CCS versions is the subrevision, so both CCS versions should be compatible, shouldn't they?
Anyway, could you involve CCS team? we guess that the problem may be in CCS/project configuration.
Any other idea what can cause the problem?
We need to share the project and make it complile in both machines.
Tell me if you need more information.

    Best regards,

    Paloma

  • Hello,

We have more information. We have imported the project to a new workspace on the same machine that it was created (to discard CCS versions incompatibility). Same result, include paths are wrong. This time, we have include paths again but another problem occurs. There are some exclude file options that are missing in the imported project too.

This is not the first project where we have this kind of problems. Why do these problems appear when importing a project? Where is the conflict? Something that we can do wrong?

    Best regards,

    Paloma

  • Hello,

Sorry but there have been a misunderstanding in our team and our problem is not this one.

Anyway, thank you for your support.
