    Just a comment, the above data seems to be of 2012 ie 6 years old. Currently, the lowest cost device is TMS320F280200 for $2.00 for 1ku. Refer:

  • that whitepaper is 6 years old. At the time we were promoting TMS320F280200 as our lowest cost device. I believe it started at about $1.75 1ku, so maybe that's why they said $1.50 in volume. We since stopped selling these reduced versions.

    There are battery test customers using the full featured TMS320F28027 or the other devices in the series like F28023.  They provide all of the battery test algorithms though, we don't provide any SW for this application.  You can get a quote at volume from your distributor.
