Hello, I am looking into seeing how the DRV8301-69M board would act as a generator and I was wondering if someone could clarify how the controller gets power from the medium voltage line?

    Which controller? ControlCard or DRV8301? As you posted in other two threads, you might use an external power supply for controlCard if the controller you mean is C2000 controller on controlCard.
    Please refer to the DRV8301 datasheet, you might use the different power supply for the buck power supply controller and inverter, but the ground must be connected together.
