Hi,

I've tried to run several of the example programs from the controlsuite--but they all hang at the following line:

I comment it out, and execution will continue in the debugger, but then it stalls at this line:

Am I missing something ?

Adam,

Are you using a TI designed board? Which controlSUITE version and example are you trying?

Does resetting the CPU from CCS prior to loading the program help?

Yes. I'm using the LAUNCHXL-F28069M with v151 of the Adc_Soc example program. Resetting the CPU doesn't make a difference. I've stepped through the debugger several times and after entering the outer while loop (index < SampeSize), it completes one iteration, and then hangs on the highlighted line in my first post.

Adam,

The polling loop in AdcConversion() is not very conducive to single-stepping. The emulation halts do not play well with the ping-pong triggering. You will want to run past the loop or step over the AdcConversion() function entirely.

Here's a copy of the adc_soc example (.out) that I built on my system and runs on my LAUNCHXL-F28069M. You should be able to run it with just one breakpoint in the adc_isr() ISR to confirm functionality.
