TMS320F28062: AFCI

The current product is using the Ti F28062 solution for AFCI at the time. When testing recently, it was found that the harmonic frequency band of the arc fault sampling is very different from the previous test and cannot be effectively identified.

In response to this question, I would like to consult with you

1. What was the signal band that you tested for DC arcing in C2000 EVK for AFCI before?

2. What algorithm is used in your software to identify the arc. And our software engineer left, I can not find the source code of C2000 he left. Can you help to give one for refer.

Thank you for posting to the e2e forums, to answer your first question:

This information is included in the Users Guide for the device, more specifically the Theory of Operation section: "For these reasons, noise in the band of frequencies between 40 kHz and 100 kHz was selected for arc detection." This is also shown in the white paper SPRY209:

The detected Arc frequency band may be designed wrong, it is not the frequency of the detected arc itself, but the frequency of igniting the arc, and a large number of filters are added. I want to know what the arc frequency (ti designed for detection) is. To determine whether some filters are cancelled. Is it 40-100Khz?

I believe it is the range specified in the document as 40-100kHz.
