Hi,

I would like to know more about this peripheral interrupt expansion block of Delfino.

The data sheet states that there are only 5 external interrupts that can be provided to the controller

What if I need to program more interrupts depending on the peripheral devices that are connected to the controller for example USB?

What is the use of this PIE Block?

Hi Janani,

External interrupts are via GPIO pin. PIE on this device can handle up to 192 interrupts. Please refer section "2.4 Peripheral Interrupts" of device reference manual for more detail on this.

I actually wanted to know that if we connect a Device through the USB interface of Delfino could I still generate an interrupt if programmed so?

Or would that be included under external interrupts?

That is part of USB interrupt not external interrupt.
