InstaSpin FOC Single Parameter Tuning for speed Loop

Hi,

It seems InstaSpin FOC is using a single parameter tuning algorithm called Active Disturbance Rejection Control. 

But, the simulations in VisSim still seem to be using a PI control. So, what exactly is being used? 

Also, is it non-linear ADRC or a linear ADRC (LADRC)  implementation?

Which one is better in terms of performance and MCU implementation run time.
