hello,

I have a motor which connected to a heavy load and i cannot run my motor on speed control, i would like to start project with torque control then switch to speed control when motor reaches specified RPM.

for example motor starts spinning with torque control whenever motor reaches 100 rpm switches to speed control.

p.s. i found other threads related and solved with same problem i am currently trying suggestions on threads but no solution yet. any new suggestions would be amazing!

    You might refer to the chapter 14 of InstaSPIN User Guide (SPRUHJ1G), which has a detailed description of low-speed operation with a full load. You may enable Force Angle first to improve the startup performance, not try torque control. The root cause is that the sensorless-FOC is difficult to get an exact rotor angle during zero/very low speed, so the motor can't output enough torque.

    thanks for your reply! I have definitely tried chapter 14 but i could not get enough torque to startup my motor with full load on. We are going to add hall sensor to improve.
