1Mbps CAN bit rate on C28346

I am trying to get CAN running at 1Mbps. Unfortunately, when I set the BRPreg to 4, TSEG1reg to 10 and TSEG2reg to 2 I get nothing out of it. If I use the same settings as before for TSEG1reg and TSEG2reg, but change BRPreg to 9 I see the can message, but with the expected bit rate of approximately 517kbps. Note that SYSCLKOUT is running at 300Mhz.

 

Any ideas why I am not seeing anything at all when I try to push it to 1Mbps?
