F28335: Measure CPU clocks

Hi,

I'm running software on F28335.

How can I measure how many CPU clocks are required for a specififed operation ?

What is the value of a "tick" in sec ?

    I think the easiest way is using:

    TIMER0TIM, TIMER0TIMH, TIMER0PRD, TIMER0PRDH,TIMER0TCR

    Am I right ?

    Yes -

    You can use the 3 CPU timers on the device to count SYSCLK cycles (can set the prescalers to divide by 1 mode so that each count = 1 SYSCLk cycle). Keep in mind that the TIMERxTIM counter registers count down from the TIMERxPRD register value.
