TMS320F28069: USB stack optimized for HID device applications

Part Number: TMS320F28069

In an established product customer is using USB stack from contolSUITE v1.41 with a bugfix from v1.50.
For a new application the problem is coming up that the USB stack needs a lot of memory and the space in the bootloader is becoming scarce.
They don't use the latest version because just want to spend the effort when less memory requirement justifies a move.

Is there a tiny USB stack for HID device applications?

I don't think there exists such stack for HID Device Application.

Hi Bernd,

We do not have a lightweight SW stack for the USB. You can use the USB library user's guide for more information if you wish to try to cut down the size of the library you are using. There are different levels of USB library functions. You should be able to implement USB communication yourself or the customer themselves by using the lower level USB library functions.

Additionally, If you turn compiler optimizations on, then this should reduce the size of the USB library code and data.
