Short cut of HVMotorCtrl development board's inverter

Normal 0 21 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

Hello

The power inverter of my HVMotorCtrl kit seems to be a short-cut.

After blow up some 3 amps fuses, I tested the inverter separately:

During this test, nothing was connected to the dev. board, only a laboratory power supply to BS5 (with its ground to BS6).

When I increased the voltage from 0 V to less than 0.1 V, the power supply reached the 2.5 A current limit.

What could happen?

I haven’t changed anything in example code, and haven’t program the DSP, when high voltage power was connected.

But I used the debugger, when high voltage was connected, and the debugger was frozen some times. Could it cause the burn of the inverter module?

Should I replace the power module?

Thank you for any help!
