Hi TI,
I am using C2000-GANG to program both TMS320F28055 and TMS320F28054M, TMS320F28055 has no problem to be programmed with C2000-GANG.
But TMS320F28054M kept giving me error 66: CSM unlock error.
BTW, I went back to use UNIFLASH to program the TMS320F28054M with XDS100v2 USB debugger, no issue. same hex file.
Any idea what can cause this problem?
1. I tried both programmed one and new chip(never programmed before), both stopped at ERROR 66: CSM unlocked error.
2. I can program TMS320F28055 multiple times without any issues using c2000 gang.
3. I also try to just Verify the programmed one (by UniFlash) using c2000 gang, and the same error shows up. ERROR 66
4. For UNIFLASH, I didn't change any settings, the default password for Z1 and Z2 are both 0XFFFFFFF.
5. For C2000 GANG, I tried all the Security Password setting, none of them works.
6. How can I confirm the boot mode pins are configured for wait mode?
Qiang,
Both are different parts. F28054M is Instaspin part and has Zone1 locked for TI hence can not be unlocked but programming should still go through because flash sectors are not secure. Look like GANG programmed is throwing error seeing Z1 is locked.

Hi,
We are trying to reproduce the problem. BTW - What software version are you using?
