CCS: Difference between the BIOS and non BIOS file

sir/madam,

We add linker command file for every project. In linker command files we have two different files. one is BIOS file and the other is non BIOS file then what is the difference between the BIOS and non BIOS file?.

Hi ADDAGUDURU ,

When you are using SYS/BIOS, a linker command file generated automatically. The main difference between non-BIOS and BIOS is about PIE vector table which would be defined in a BIOS command file while in non-BIOS command file there should be a mapping for PIE vector table. Be aware and cureful to have ONLY one command file in every project's folder eigher you are using BIOS version or non-BIOS version otherwise there would be some conflicts.
