TMS320F2812: EtherCAT SYNC0 pin/SYNC1 pin

Hi All,

As mentioned in the below link, We can connect the SYNCO/SYNC1 pin of ET1100 with General GPIO.

But, Is this mandatory, to connect the SYNC0/SYNC1 with IRQ configuration? or When do we need to assign the SYNC0/SYNC1 with IRQ ?

Hello

I can't say 100% whether it is mandatory or not, but if you are going to be operating with SYNC, to get the best performance, it will be best to have SYNC tied to a IRQ configuration.

Thank you for your reply.
I can connect the SYNC0/SYNC1 with any GPIO's and configure as external interrupt.
