Hi,

I want to use LAUNCHXL-F28379D with my existed system. What would be the best power configuration to use if i want to debug in real time.
Should i isolated USB and power through 3.3 external pin. ?

Yes, isolated USB and Ferrite core based USB cable are must. As for power try with both 3.3V from USB and later external 3.3V; you should not observe much of a difference.

Hi,
What is the Ferrite core based USB cable ? Is it the cable provided. Beside, I can't power using 3.3V from USB if i isolated it right ? The only way to power when isolating USB is to used external power right ?

By Isolated USB, i mean the power mode. This mode is mentioned in the manual
