The resistance R118 is 510 ohms. When the GPIO level of DSP is low, the current will flow through about 6mA. The driving capacity of GPIO is up to 4m A.

    Exceeding the recommended operating conditions in the datasheet for the device can lead to long term reliability issues. You will overstress the GPIO buffer. You should change R118 to properly current limit the flow into the GPIO pin at 4 mA or less.
