Hi,

On a design under developement, we wish use ADS8910B and a TMS320F28075, we have some questions about SPI interface :

1 - Could we access to ADC measure register throught DMA ? Or we need to use McBSPs ?

2 - Could you confirm QSPI interface isn't present on this DSP reference ?

3 - Our application requiere a sampling each 50µs (average measure calculated on 32 value). Do you have a spreadsheet in order to calculate the maximal transfert reachable with a classic SPI interface ?

Benjamin,

The information in #1 and #2 are documented in both the datasheet and the TRM of the F2807x
1. Yes, SPI has DMA hookup
2. Correct, there is no QSPI on F2807x (or any C2000 MCU for that matter)
3. No spreadsheet exists. The SPI will operate at up to 30MHz on F2807x. (120MHz/4) With the DMA, this can be run continuously without CPU intervention. At 30 MHz SPICLK, one 22-bit word from the ADC will take ~733 ns.
