DRV8301-HC-C2-KIT: Simulink Embedded coder issues with DRV8301-69M-KIT

Part Number: DRV8301-69M-KIT
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MOTORWARE

Dear Ti Support Team,

i'm using the example provided from mathwork for DRV8312EVM + Launchpad F28069 Piccolo :

Then i try using this example "c28069pmsmfoc_ert.slx" to run the embedded coder with DRV8301-69M-KIT but without any success :) since the motor is not spinning .... I have modified the my motor parameter for this example and i'm quite sure that the motor parameters are okay. Since i tested the motor parameter with lab4a in CCS and the motor spins without any issues.

I assume the Launchpad  F28069 Piccolo has the same configuration as the TMDSCNCD28069MISO card on the DRV8301-69M-KIT, then the example must also run on the DRV8301-69M-KIT.

Am i missing something? or what need to be changed to adapt this model for DRV8301-69M-KIT?.

I would appreciate any suggestion from your side and many thanks in advance !!!

Best

Giang To

  • DIfferent sets of hardware require different GPIO, PWM and ADC configurations. The DRV8312EVM and DRV8301EVM will have different HAL initialization, so you will need to use the appropriate files from Motorware. You can find the correct files here:

    C:\ti\motorware\motorware_1_01_00_18\sw\modules\hal\boards

Then choosing the correct board and device combination
