Hi, team,

Could you please check McBSP phenomenon about below?

[Condition]

- Sample code : mcbsp_loopback_dma <controlSUITE\device_support\F2837xD\v190\F2837xD_examples_Cpu1\mcbsp_loopback_dma>

- EVM : TMDSCNCD28379D + Docking Station

[Phenomenon]

There is unexpected waveform in CLKX/R pin as attached file. It seems to be open the pin. The clock starts from 1V to 2V.

[Question]

Could you please check if TI could see same phenomenon using with the TI EVM and TI sample code, and how to fix it? (Is the phenomenon caused due to pcb layout of the TI EVM?)

When I run mcbsp_loopback_dma testcase on control card + docking station setup, I see 50MHz clock on GPIO22 (Pin 72 on docking station) as shown below.

Thank you for your support. Btw, your wave reach from + 4.6V to -1.2V(=6V amplitude). The power for C2000 is 3.3V. Do you have an idea why the amplitude has 6V?

Nagata,

MCLKX / MCLKRX is toggling at a high frequency of 50MHz, the overshoot and undershoot of high and low pulses merges with 3.3 v signal making it appear as 6v amplitude. The buffer strength of device isn't able to support faster rise / fall time at such a high frequency, so the square waveform starts to look as sine wave. If you toggle at a slower frequency, should see a cleaner square wave.

- Could you please take a picture the connection which 5V power supply or USB with base board? ( I would like to confirm the your power supply connection to base board.)
