TMS320F28035: SPI MISO Read problem

Part Number: TMS320F28035

I am having error in MISO from 28035 as slave communicating with DUAL core 28379.

DO I need to have pullup on slave and master side?

Also what should be polarity and phase for least errors?

Thanks

  • Sagar,

Pullups are generally not necessary on SPI other than perhaps to help suppress noise on the lines or to pull signals to a known state if they are ever in high-impedance states.

Polarity and Phase are usually determined by the requirements of the ICs that are connected. You typically will see external, non-configurable ICs have a predefined clocking scheme, there is no standard for picking any of the 4, only that one of the 4 are chosen. The programmable MCU will then be configured to match the external device to facilitate the communication channel Since you are using two C2000 MCUs, it is fully up to you. No configuration will be better or worse performing.
