TMS320F28377D: ADC VREFHI connet VDDA

Although I use the 16bit differential input, but the accuracy of the analog measurement I require is not very high.It mainly measures bus voltage and temperature.I want to try to connect VREFHI directly to VDDA.Is there any risk of doing so?

Hi Tina,

There is no risk but connecting VREFHI to VDDA, however conversion accuracy will be severely impacted due to noise in VDDA supply, especially in 16-bit mode. You might be better off converting in 12-bit mode instead if you are not concerned about accuracy.
