TMS320F28335: Configuring GPIO 32 and GPIO33 as EPWM outputs.

In TMS320F28335, I wish to configure GPIO 32 and 33 as EPWM output pins.

Choosing GpioCtrlRegs.GPBMUX1.bit.GPIO32 = 0 and GpioCtrlRegs.GPBMUX1.bit.GPIO33 = 0 results in GPIO32 and GPIO33 being chosen by GPBMUX1.

However, how do I now ensure that these GPIO pins give me EPWM signals?

That's not possible.

GPIO32 and GPIO33 cannot be muxed as for ePWM signal functionality at all. They can be set as ePWM Sync in/out pins. The table above clearly mentions the same.

If GPBMUX1 selects GPIO32, then pin GPIO32 should be usable as general purpose input / output. ( DIR = 0 : input and DIR = 1 : output )
After selecting DIR=1 , how do I ensure or know what comes out of GPIO32?

If GPIO 32 is configured as an output it will drive the value found in the GPBDAT register. There are several ways you can change the value in the GPxDAT registers, see GPxSET, GPxCLEAR, and GPxTOGGLE.
