TMS320F28379S: SCI BOOT0 MODE PINS CONFIGURATION

Part Number: TMS320F28379S

tms320f28379s the default SCI-Boot 0 uses GPIO72 and GPIO84. But simultaneously is GPIO72 = External memory interface 1 data line 12 How can this work???

  • Ambati,

You should be able to connect the GPIO72 to both. It's TX line for SCI so will not be driven by external component and external memory will also not drive it unless there is proper READ command. Pins will be configured as EMIF only after boot is done. Right?
