Dear TI Experts,

Now I am using TMS320F28235PTPQ in Motor Control project~

But I find that TMS320F28235PTPQ is not easy to buy, Is TMS320F28235PTPQ not common item?

I found that the mainly difference between TMS320F28235PTPQ and TMS320F28235PGFA is temperature and thermal pad~

Which one would you suggest me to use?

Hi,

If you don't need a Q grade part for your project, then I would suggest the TMS320F28235PGFA.

The main difference is: TMS320F28235 does not have a FPU (Floating point Unit) while F28335 has.

Hi,

Like Gautam pointed out, the main difference is that TMS320F28235 does not have the FPU (Floating point Unit) while the F28335 does. Here is the link to the comparison chart:
