I am sending data from tms230f28069 lauch pad and wants to receive at arduino uno with mcp2515 (can transceiver).

but arduino is nor able to get the value

will you please help

Hi Ashwinee,

If both the MCU have their respective CAN transceivers, you should very well be able to communicate. Try the other way around.

CAN is an industry-standard protocol; i.e. it is not specific to any one IC manufacturer. So, the CAN port in one IC should be able to communicate with the CAN port of another IC from a different manufacturer, as long as the H/W connections are correct and the receiver port’s mailboxes are configured correctly to receive the message.

Please download my app.note http://www.ti.com/lit/an/spra876b/spra876b.pdf and read section 3 carefully (Debug and Design Tips to Resolve/Avoid CAN Communication Issues).

Post the waveform at CANTX pin. The waveform would indicate whether you are receiving an ACK from the Arduino.
