Please note that the complete set of VCU instructions will not be implemented on newer devices. Only the instructions supporting CRC calculation will be retained (referred to as VCRC). This note is included in the Technical Reference Manual for devices with the VCU.

If you are interested in FFTs then I suggest using the floating-point unit instead. The floating point unit has higher precision than the VCU FFT capabilities and will be supported on future devices. Floating-point FFT libraries can be found in C2000Ware.
