Hi,

we are using XDS100V2 emulator to debug the TMS320F28374S. we are using CCS V 7.4.

Do we need to connect external crystal to controller to program flash? What frequency of Crystal need to be used?

Nik,

Are you asking this in the context of using CCS On-Chip Flash Plugin? If yes, there is no need to connect to external crystal. Flash Plugin uses INTOSC for Flash operations.
