Hello,

where can we find the original source code associated with the appProgram.out which is included with the original installation for TMS320F28069 for hvkit_rev1p1 kit ( C:\ti\guicomposer\webapps\InstaSPIN_FOC_F2806xM )? Has the original appProgram.out file been generated by one of the example projects? If so, which one is it? If not, how can we access the original source code? Appreciate your urgent response.

No special source code for the original appProgram .out. You might build the related lab project and change its name to appProgram.out to use the GUI per your requirement. The GUI could support all lab projects in motorware except lab01b and lab01c.

I don't think all of the lab projects have all the parameters/modes available in the original appProgram.out provided by TI. is this correct? I would like to know which lab project to use to be closest to the original .out file by TI, because that code is working fine for us and we just want to make some minor adjustments.

Right. Lab02~lab10 could be used for GUI as the project of original appProgram.out.

It's not working though! Are you sure that we don't have to use the universal GUI? We tried the GUI which is designed for TMS320F28069 with different project labs and for all of them, most of the tabs are inactive and GUI is not working. Any suggestions?

The universal GUI supports most lab project (lab02~lab10) if you follow the QSG to do it. Lab11x, lab20, and lab21 maybe not work well for some variables can't active correctly. Please post a figure to show your issue if you have any question.

We DO NOT want to use the universal GUI. We are interested in using the GUI which is designed for TMS320F28069 provided by TI. The question is : Will that GUI support all the labs?

You might use CCS to debug all lab projects refer to instaSPIN lab guide since the MOTION GUI doesn't support all lab projects and re-compiled .out file. Only the universal GUI supports re-compiled .out file for all projects (lab02~lab10).
