Our BLDC motor application requires operation at low speed (<10 rpm) with high speed accuracy and large torque. We used DRV8312-C2-KIT with Anaheim BLY172S motor and 5000 ppr encoder and set 0.005 krpm to gMotorVars.SpeedRef_krpm parameter in lab 12b. The motor speed was unstable and torque was weak. We used tuned motor parameters from the previous labs. We did not tune motor parameters with the encoder.
Does provided software have limitation on the minimum speed? What software configuration and parameters would you recommend to control the motor and have high torque at low speed and high speed accuracy?
