Hi,

I have just purchased the new LaunchXL-F280049C and downloaded CCS8 latest version.

I am trying to test connection on the board, through "verify connection" and the same message keeps showing:

This error is generated by TI's USCIF driver or utilities.

The value is '-233' (0xffffff17).
The title is 'SC_ERR_PATH_BROKEN'.

The explanation is:
The JTAG IR and DR scan-paths cannot circulate bits, they may be broken.
An attempt to scan the JTAG scan-path has failed.
The target's JTAG scan-path appears to be broken
with a stuck-at-ones or stuck-at-zero fault.

I have check the different switched, all on default setup and the selected device is set to F280049C.

Did anyone get this problem already?

Pedro,

The LAUNCHXL-F280049C has a couple of firsts as Guatam mentions in his unboxing. This is the first C2000 LP to use XDS110 vs the XDS100v2 and in this case it is also the first C2000 to use cJTAG 2 pin emulation connection. There is a special setting in the CCXML(under advanced) to enable cJTAG as shown the in the below screenshot. Let me know if this fixes your issue.
