DRV8301-69M-KIT: InstaSPIN-MOTION GUI, Problem with identification with file user.h

When I upload the new appProgram.out with the new user.h parameters, the InstaSPIN GUI identifies the wrong KIT (HV REV 1.1 instead of DRV8301 KIT-REVD). Where could I have made some mistakes?

What was the path of the project that you used to compile the appProgram.out? Did you try a clean and build after updating the user.h?

Hi Sean,

To compile the appProgram.out I tried two different paths:
ti/motorware/motorware_1_01_00_18/sw/solutions/instaspin_motion/boards/drv8301kit_revD/f28x/f2806xF/projects/ccs/proj_lab05c/Release
ti/motorware/motorware_1_01_00_18/sw/solutions/instaspin_foc/boards/drv8301kit_revD/f28x/f2806xF/projects/ccs/proj_lab02c/Release
I tried a clean and build but nothing changes.

Hi Elisa, sorry for the long delay in response. As it turns out, you are not able to change the .out for the MOTION GUI as you are able to do for the FOC GUI. We recommend that you instead use CCS to perform the debug, the instructions should be available in the InstaSPIN Lab User's Guide in the Motorware 18.
