Hi

1. Is the RAMP Generator PWMSYNC1/2/3/4 signal meaning PWM1SYNC?

2. Can PWM5/6 PWMSYNC signal synchronize with RAMPgenerator or not?

    The PWMSYNC signal used by the Ramp Generator is coming from the HRPWM portion of logic.  It is not the same as the EPWMSYNCI/O signal.

    Yes, all of the PWMSYNC signals on the device are available for use with the Ramp Generator.

    [tlee]: The PWMSYNC signal used by the Ramp Generator is coming from the HRPWM portion of logic.  It is not the same as the EPWMSYNCI/O signal.

    [Daniel]:  Is there document describe about this? I can't find this signal source on PWM&AD document.

    [Daniel]:  Double check with you. It only has PWMSYNC1/2/3/4 on document. PWM5/PWM6 are not synchronize with Ramp Genarator? Am I right?

    Since the PWMSYNC signal is generated in the HRPWM portion, the information is in the HRPWM Reference Guide.  Look for HRPCTL[PWMSYNCSEL].

    No, all of the PWMs on the device (including PWM5 and PWM6) can generate PWMSYNC signals.  They can all be used with the Ramp Generator.  The figure was originally created for F2802x which only has 4 PWMs.

    Many thanks for your reply.

    We are making a ramp compensation for the three-way interleaved BUCK, which requires PWM4/5/6 to be synchronized.

    It has no description about PWMSYNC5/6. How to synchronize PWM4/5/6 signal? Thanks.

    Daniel,

    Just continue the PWMSYNCn enumeration for RAMPSOURCE.  You can refer to the F28069 TRM register definition if you do not understand.  They are implemented the same way.
