CCS/LAUNCHXL-F28069M: Lost getting started.

I have the F28069M with the DRV8301 boost pack. I am trying to learn how to use it but have gotten completely lost. The closest I have come was to get code composer to tell me that it couldn't connect to the target. I can't find a way to connect to the Launch pad and the online example videos don't seem to match.

Hi Kenneth

Please download Motorware from our website. The software package has multiple PDF resources on how to get started with the kits you have, and will have example software to run InstaSPIN-FOC so you can get started spinning a motor (if that is indeed your goal). Specifically, there are "Hardware Quick Start guides" which should get you connected and able to load a program onto the device

I think I might have found the problem, the computer I was trying to use it on doesn't have com ports and for some reason wasn't letting even the virtual one get made. I am now working on installing all of the components on an older computer and will let you know how it works out.

I have been trying to do the labs from the motorware but the instructions seem to be for version 5.4 of ccs. I tried to install 5.5 but it is not compatible with windows 10. Many of the instructions do not match 8.2's menus.

We have run Motorware successfully in version 6.1.1 of CCS, can you please try downloading this version to use with Motorware 18?
