Hi,
I am planning to use the chip TMS320F28379S to drive motors. I also plan on interfacing this microcontroller with absolute encoders through BISS.
Does TI have CLB software libraries or examples for TMS320F28379S? I initially wanted to use the microcontroller TMS320F280049C to interface with absolute encoders. However, based on the link below this was not possible. Is there a similar issue with TMS320F28379S?
I would also like to ask: Which pins on the TMS320F28379SPZP are responsible for BISS? I am planning to control 3 absolute encoders with this chip. Is there an internal switch which can allow me to switch between the 3 encoders or would I need an external switch for this?
Thank you very much!
Hi,
Current libraries for BiSS-C are available for the F28379D only. Also, these libraries can be used to connect to 1 encoder only. There is no internal switch to switch between encoders or to support more than one encoder at a given time.
