Hi team,
On behalf of a customer I have a question relating to a TMS320F2812 that occasionally loses its program.
We use TMS320F2812GHHS in a design where we have a random problem with the chip losing its program,
We use ethernet as a way to upgrade / change software.
So we have a bootloader that does this. This bootloader is also crashed / erased / damaged when the problem is seen,
so we need to open the unit, and via jtag program bootloader again, then it all works perfectly again, for a long time..
Any ideas what can cause this? We have listed a few ideas :
- BOR
- Voltage sequencing
- Voltage spikes
- ESD
- External voltage check and reset needed
What would you suggest to look at?
