TMS320F28335: Flash28335_API_V210.lib source code

Part Number: TMS320F28335
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F2808

I have found previous threads asking where source code for this is to be found, such as http://e2e.ti.com/support/legacy_forums/hirel/f/935/t/581518?SM320F28335-EP-Avionic-Application-need-for-source-code-of-Flash28335-API-V210-lib-to-be-compliant-with-DO-178-requirements.

It looks like it should be available, but I can't find it anywhere.  Like others I want it for a DO-178C application.

Is it available somewhere?

Thanks, Giles

  • Giles,

I have sent you a private message with regards to your request.

  • Hi Lori

I thought there might be something to fill in, like the form you sent me (though hoping there wouldn't be). It is going to take me some time to gather the necessary information, and I will need to talk to the appropriate legal person. So there will be a long wait before I make the request. And I'm wondering if there is already some agreement in place.

It is also possible that we won't need the source code, and we need to work this out before proceeding.

    Thanks, Giles
  • Giles,

Thank you for responding back. I understand.

I will check with our legal department to see if something from your company is already on-file. I will be unable to follow-up on this next week (week of Nov 12th), so it may be after Thanksgiving before I have an answer from them. You indicate that it may be sometime before the code is needed so I hope that timeframe is ok.

    Regards
    Lori
  • Hi Lori,

That's fine. It might become urgent eventually, but not for at least a few weeks.
For a related project I find we already have "F280x Flash API Library Source Release V3.02", for use on a TMS320F2808. The current work is descended from that project, but using a F28335. I'm assuming the F2808 code is not suitable for the F28335.

    Regards, Giles
  • Giles,

I sent you a couple of questions in a private message. Please let me know if you did not receive the questions.

You are correct, the F2808 has a slightly different source than the F28335x API.

    Regards
    Lori
  • Giles, I am going to mark this thread as resolved since we discussed offline.
