Dear all,
I am using the external input to forces the controller into standby or Hibernation mode. (example. taking Ignition input in a vehicle on controlling the power mode)
I have some points for clarification.
1. How does the LPM work? What happens to digital outs and inputs, Communication channels etc.
2. Does the value of variables in one iteration will be carried forward into other after coming out of LPM. If so then what is the significance of having data saving facility like EEPROM in place?
( for hibernation it will reset it so it will not)
3. In coming out from hibernation means reset- does it runs the initialization function or directly goes into main?
4. What is the practice in the Automotive domain for Power modes?
