TMS320F28335: TMS320F28335 consultants or training

Part Number: TMS320F28335

I'm taking over a program that uses the TMS320F28335 and has about 70 pages of CCS code.

I'm interested in either

[1] training for CCS (ie sit in a workshop not web based)

[2] training for CCS specific to the TMS320F28335 or similar

[3] a consultant who can help advice with questions and or do some of the work for future product development

[4] most suitable dev kits for TMS320F28335

Help for CCS is now built into CCS - see the Help tab (Getting Started, etc.). You could also take a look at our workshops, which can be found at:

processors.wiki.ti.com/.../C2000_32-bit_Real-Time_MCU_Training

As for a development kit you might want to consider:

this is helpful.. The previous engineer left me a few TMDSRSLVR, it looks like it accepts this type of platform. Is there a product that can be inserted into the socket or should I buy the TMDsdock? What does into the TMDSRSLVR ?

for sales personnel, the only people I can find are these but it looks like it is for educational institutions not commercial.

Still would like to know consulting firms to that do TI work too.

Jim,

The TMDSRSLVR is the C2000 Resolver to Digital Conversion Kit, which accepts the F28335 controlCARD, as well as the F28027 and F28035 controlCARDs. The link for the development kit that I sent you previously includes both the F28335 controlCARD and the Docking Station to plug the controlCARD into. If you only need the F28335, it can be purchased separately:

The link you have in your post is for the TI Education Technology Group, which is mostly for calculators. I am not aware of any consultants, but you can try searching the web.

If you look at processors.wiki.ti.com/.../C2000_Archived_Workshops, you will find a multi-day workshop specific to the F28335.
The newer training that Ken mentioned will be based on a newer Code Composer Studio.
Probably the most suitable kit would be the experimenter's kit: www.ti.com/.../TMDSDOCK28335

IS there a awy to find out if any new courses are available?

It probably safe to say that there are no new courses on the F28335 - the materials in the archived workshops do a very good job on the part. I think newer material tends to be aimed at the newer parts, like the F2837x and now the F28004x parts.

Jim,

The only workshop for the F28335 is located in the archive with no plans for an update. I am currently working on the new F280049 workshop and I expect it to be completed around July 2019.
