TMS320F28379D: Compatible EMIF devices?

You can use both the on-board and EMIF external memory.

There are no software limitations with using both EMIF and SPI, but there may be pin conflicts.  You can use the Pin Mux Tool to check for pin conflicts.

where can i find compatible EMIF to buy for the board like what do i look for to know that im about to purchase the right thing sorry i know this question might seem a little childish first time playing with this stuff.

Can you clarify your request?  Are you looking for a compatible memory to use on a custom board?  Are you looking for a daughter card that works with an existing board?

If it's the latter, you can look at this EMIF appnote for a daughter card reference design that you can build.

I'm looking for something that will work alongside the tms320f28379d launchpad to increase the memory handling a lot of signal processing so that board doesnt have enough memory alone.
