Hello,

I am using SYS/BIOS for one of my project. I come to the point where my L3DPSARAM is getting full. But L2DPSARAM still have space. As below

L0SARAM 00008000 00000800 000006f1 0000010f RWIX
L1DPSARAM 00008800 00000400 00000320 000000e0 RWIX
L2DPSARAM 00008c00 00000400 00000100 00000300 RWIX
L3DPSARAM 00009000 00001000 00000fe5 0000001b RWIX

How I can merge both memory using .tcf file as I am using it to manage?

I tried directly as non-bios but it fives me an error.

It's urgent. Please advise.

I'm not aware of a way to do this with SYS/BIOS. Can you tell me what error message you're getting?

Hello Mam,

Here is the error I see. I have resolved by making some space in L3DPSARAM but what I want to do is use one big L123DPRAM area. Or I want to move some hwi into L2DPSARM.

One big L123DPSARAM shouldn't be a problem. In your cmd file remove the individual LxDPSARAM blocks and replace them with something like

L0SARAM : origin = 0x00008000, length = 0x00000800
L123DPSARAM : origin = 0x00008800, length = 0x00001800

Does that work? Are you still getting errors?

Hello Whitney,

The question is I am using.tcf file to manage memory. Where doe it generate appropriate .cmd file? I am using .cmd from bios examples only whic is F28X_BIOS_flash.cmd and _HEader_BIOS.cmd.

Where can i change it as i don't see L0SARAM : origin = 0x00008000, length = 0x00000800

I assumed you would be configuring these memory blocks in F28X_BIOS_flash.cmd. You mentioned a L0SARAM block in your original post, so I guessed that you had one in your cmd file.

Can you show me how you're managing the memory in your .tcf either with a screenshot or attaching your file? I'm not familiar with this feature. Are you using SYS/BIOS or BIOS? What version?

Hello Whitney,

Here i have attached

1> Example project view ...

2> tsk.tcf file where i am refering L3

I am using CCS 5.0 for configuration tool. SYS/BIOS version 5.42.0.07.

Hi Jay,

Can you attach your .tcf and mapfile (please attach the file and don't copy/paste)? What things do you want to place in L2DPSARAM?

Jigar,

Rename the file to mytcffile.txt. You might need to do something similar with the mapfile. Also, what do you want to place in L2DPSARAM?
